Waterloov is a gutter cover that is similar to some of the other reverse curve gutter systems. The difference is that Waterloov adds some additional louvers to the location where the water enters the gutters. This provide an additional barrier to keep debris out of the gutter, but still allow rain water to flow easily.
Waterloov is a cover only. You will need to have existing gutters and downspouts in order to use this product.
One thing about Waterloov is that it looks kind of weird. The louvers are clearly visible from the ground and it just looks strange. Most of the other gutter products I have seen blend into the house so you can’t see them. With Waterloov people will look at your house and say, “What is that up there”. It isn’t really ugly, I just wish it would blend in more.
The Waterloov website claims that they are #1 in America. But the only dealers that I can find are in the southeast states. I’m not sure if this product is available throughout the US or not. Their website does not look very professional and some of the links are broken. Even the dealer lookup link is broken so I’m not sure where the dealers are located.

Gutter Topper is exactly what its name says, a top for your gutters. Gutter Topper installs over your existing gutters and uses a reverse curve system so that rain water flows into your gutters, but leaves, needles, and other debris does not enter the gutters.
The Gutter Topper product is very similar to the other gutter products on the market. It uses reverse curve gutters that others use so there is actually very little to differentiate it from the other products. They even advertise the Best Housekeeping seal like Leaf Filter does.
If your gutters are already in bad shape then it would probably not be worth spending the money to add this gutter cover. It would be more worthwhile to completely replace your gutters with a new product. However if your gutters are currently in good condition you might be able to save some money because you can reuse your existing gutters.
Due to their advertising I’m guessing that the quote to install Gutter Topper will be high and that they will use a high pressure sales pitch. If you can confirm or deny that then please leave a comment below.
Leaf Guard is a complete gutter system. The system includes reverse curve gutters and the downspouts. The water flows along the curve of the gutter so it does not have a screen. The components seem to be of fairly high quality.
The Leaf Guard company guarantees that the gutters will never clog. If they do the company will come out and clean them for free. They also really advertise their Good Housekeeping seal of approval. I’m not really sure about that seal. I believe the company just pays Good Housekeeping to put the seal on their site and literature so it doesn’t really mean much (except extra cost for the consumer).

Leaf Filter is a gutter cover system that uses a screen to filter out leaves, pine needles, and other debris from your gutters. The screen has very fine holes that let water pass through the screen while keeping all other debris out. They claim that things as small as a grain of sand will be kept out of your gutters.
Leaf Filter is a cover only that fits over your existing gutters. This is good if you already have existing gutters in good condition because you can save money on the product and the installation costs. But if you’re gutters need replacing anyway then you should factor the costs of new gutters in and compare prices to a complete gutter system.

Gutter Helmet is a gutter cover product that fits over your existing gutters. Their website isn’t very clear on exactly how it works. It appears to use a reverse curve system that drains the water into your existing gutter.
The costs of the product are unknown at this time. It appears that this product is a high margin product based on the advertising on their website. If you have received an actual quote then please add the amount of the quote to the comments section.
Pros: Uses your existing gutter to keep costs down. Uses the reverse curve system so there is nothing that will get clogged.
Cons: Your existing gutters need to be in good condition. If you are looking for a complete gutter and downspout system then look elsewhere. Price?
